Request for Research Assistant
Would you like to gain experience as a research assistant on an international project working in the Sydney area? I have a position for an energetic 2nd or 3rd year nursing student who can speak both Chinese and English. The project involves looking at ‘doing the month: an exploratory study of three generations of Chinese women living in Sydney, Australia’. Rates of pay and hours of work are negotiable.

CP7 Clinical Placements
Dear 3rd Year students, please follow the procedure for clinicals placements carefully.
As stated at program time on Thursday, the Clinical Office will assist students to secure their CP7 placements at their place of employment. However, in order to do this you must approach the clinical office with proof of your employment at the facility that you wish to complete your clinical.
Under no circumstances are students to contact St Vincents Private or Public seeking CP7 placements. Your request will be rejected upon application

3rd Year Students - Maternity Elective
There will be no maternity workshop scheduled for the Maternity elective on Monday Week 1. Jane Allnutt will speak to these students about the workshop activities in their Wednesday tutorial session in Week 1.

NRSG 226 Vanuatu Elective
There have been 2 students who have had to cancel their study tour elective to Vanuatu (NRSG 226 Health and Healing Practices in Indigenous Communities:Vanuatu) Are there any students (1st, 2nd and 3rd Yr) interested in doing this unit? It would be necessary to enrol in the unit and pay approx $1460 for travel and accommodation. The flight to Vanuatu leaves 16th November and returns to Australia on 30th November.
