Mr Barrett's diagnosis of Left Deep Vein Thrombosis has been confirmed. Mr Barrett continues on an IV Heparin infusion and is to remain on bedrest. He has been passing small frequent amounts of urine since catheter removal and states he doesn't feel like he is emptying his bladder. The RMO has ordered a reinsertion of his IDC.

The time is 1400hrs and you have commenced your shift. Administer care as per the clinical pathway and patient charts.
