Lab Activities
Ms Dixon still displays florid psychotic symptoms and wants to return to the Maternity Unit and her baby.
Ms Dixon is also showing signs of self-harm and has been cutting her upper arm with a razor. This now needs to be attended as a wound dressing.
As the RN assigned to Ms Dixon:

Assess the risk of injury to baby

Consult with the Psychiatrist if Ms Dixon requires scheduling

Explain to Ms Dixon the process, implications and answer her questions

Attend dressing

Attend to documentation
